We started off as a pea size idea which grew and grew.  Think Jack and the Beanstalk.  We picked up a few creatives, actors and followers on the way.

Soon enough we became a modern-day Pied Piper piping our flute all the way to BAC, pit stopping at a Mad Hatters Party, got a bit thirsty and had a craving for Karaoke-Dokee so stopped off somewhere in Brick Lane to stretch our vocals…hop skipped and REMIXed our way to refuel at a Gumbo Soup Party and then, on Saturday 8 May, we’ll have reached our final destination…

After five months of planning, partying, editing, REMIXing, collaborating, fundraising, yelling and loving…REMIX will finally be coming to BAC on Saturday 8 May 2010 as part of their Scratch Festival.

REMIX have been given four rooms and the main stairway to experiment, create and perform in. Be prepared to create your own journey as you wonder, ponder, yonder through the rooms occupied by the REMIX creatives, each of whom will be presenting their adaptation of the REMIX poem.  Having been re-developed, re-written and RE-MIXed, the four rooms will provide five adaptations in five different arts forms: a dance installation; a mobile musical library; a stylist’s studio; a play; a photobook installation.

Still thirsty for more? Well, you can re-live your journey as each room runs on a loop. Take  from it what you will, but be prepared to be yurning for more!
