We’re pleased to announce the REMIX cast who will be appearing in four out of the five REMIXes
Lydia Rose Bewley graduated from the three-year course at The Oxford School of Drama in 2007. Theatre credits include Titania/Helena in A Midsummer Nights’ Dream, Helena in Look Back in Anger for The Lichfield Garrick Repertory Company. Lydia has worked for the past year with Pilot Light Theatre Company based at The Half Moon in Herne Hill. Roles with the company include Miss Furnival in Black Comedy, Mrs Sullen in The Beaux’ Stratagem, Doctor in The Dark and Cavernous Walls. Roles whilst at drama school include Helena in The Rover, Natalya in A Month in The Country and Rose Baum in The American Clock. Film credits include Venus/Young Woman in Philip Haas’ The Butchers Shop (winner of the Premio Open Award at Venice Film Festival 2008).
Lydia Emerson is originally from Sheffield. She achieved a first class honours (BA) in Drama from the University of Manchester before training as an actress at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Since graduating in 2008, Lydia’s theatre credits include Gretl in Don Juan Comes Back From the War, at the BAC and Little Friend in More Light at the Arcola, “a potent, pungent theatrical morsel”, Sam Marlowe, **** the Times, Guardian, Time Out and the Evening Standard. Lydia’s short film credits include Stacey in Sky Edge and Jane in Shag, Marry, Kill. Lydia is a keen writer and looks forward to taking up her place on the Young Writers’ Programme at the Royal Court theatre in May.
Matthew Raymond trained at the ArtsEd School of Acting. Recent theatre includes Welcome Back with Walking Forward theatre company. TV includes Torchwood (BBC Wales). Film includes Summertime (Cannes Film Festival 2010) White Devil (ND/NF Film festival 08). Matthew has also worked on a number of successful short films, fringe productions and rehearsed readings including I‘m with you written by Kate Ryan Gaynor.
Zara Tempest-Walters’ theatre credits include Well (Trafalgar Studios; Apollo, West End), Adriana in The Comedy of Errors, and the title role in The Taming of the Shrew. Her television credits include The Great Escape (BBC Interactive) and Doctors. She is about to start rehearsals for Richard Eyre’s upcoming National Theatre production of Welcome to Thebes by Moira Buffini.
Alexander Aplerku was born and raised in Hackney, East London. His origins lie within Ghana and Nigeria. Drawn, since childhood, towards artistic expression; a present life as an actor and writer appears inevitable. A debut at Sadler’s Wells with the Young Person’s Theatre Company cemented his desire to act. Since then he has not looked back, amounting a range of work both on the stage and screen.
Ian Wyche graduated last summer with a BA in Acting from Drama Centre London. Recent theatre credits include Clockwork Orange at Proud Camden, 48HR Showtime Challenge Crazy For You at the London Palladium and has recently completed three months further training in Musical Theatre with APS.
